This is also easily done with hotkeys (see below). You can rotate/flip/mirror/stretch/zoom the video Menu > Play > After Playback (for current file only) Options > Playback > After Playback (permanent setting) For example to go to next file or close player. You can perform automatic actions at end of file. You can jump to next/previous file in a folder by pressing PageUp/PageDown. You can quickly seek through a video with Ctrl + Mouse Scrollwheel. ![]() MPC-HC can remember playback position, so you can resume from that point later Options > Playback > Output > Audio Renderer This also has automatic pitch correction. This can be customized to smaller values (like 10%):Īdjusting playback speed works best with the internal audio renderer. The buttons in the player that control playback rate take a 2x step by default. Options > Tweaks > Show preview on seek bar When using dark theme it is also possible to change the height of the seekbar and size of the toolbar buttons. ![]() Here is a list of useful options and features that everyone should know about: MPLAY A BLURAY WITH MPC HC MANUALThumbnail sheet now uses a dark background color if dark theme is enabledįixed an issue with manual rotation with EVR-CP for videos that already had automatic rotationįixed an issue with parsing background color tags in WebVTT subtitlesįixed a regression with YDL preferred video format settingĪ lot of people seem to be unaware of some of the awesome features that have been added to MPC-HC in the past years. Some font related efficiency improvements for rendering the player menu I saw it had an option to open Blu-ray files, but it ended up throwing a rendering error.Updated LAV Filters to version 0.76.1-25-g24efe It did seem to work fine for the PC monitor.įor media files, I use MPC-HC by clsid2 (I know there various branches of MPC-HC, several which are dead now, but this branch is still regularly updated). I finally tried PowerDVD, which has a trial, but it yells about HDCP support lacking when I move the video to the TV monitor. I saw a solution whose name I already forgot available on the Microsoft store, but once again, I couldn't find a way to navigate the menus, and it stuck giant highly opaque watermarks all over, which required a subscription to remove. Pressing up/down to navigate the main menu did nothing, either via their virtual controller or the keyboard arrow keys. Also, I couldn't get their virtual controller to work. MPLAY A BLURAY WITH MPC HC FULLLeawo wants to maximize to my smaller PC monitor instead of the TV, and once I did manage to get it to go full screen on the TV, the next time I started it it went back to the PC monitor, but with the larger window size from the TV screen, which means most of it is off screen, including all the controls to shrink or move it to the other monitor. I've been trying different players, using my blu-ray of Wreck-It Ralph. My PC is connected to my TV, which is what I actually want the videos to play on. MPLAY A BLURAY WITH MPC HC WINDOWS 10Well, I learned Windows 10 doesn't support playing Blu-rays by default, so I've been looking for software that plays Blu-rays I do most of my media watching on my PC anyways, so I figured I would get a Blu-ray drive so I don't need to power up the PS4, and hey, navigating menus and such has to be easier on PC than on a controller, right? ![]()
